A very high fire danger (risk category 4) has been forecast for Saturday in five regions of Greece, according to the Fire Danger Forecast Map issued by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection of the Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Ministry, ANA reports.
The regions with a high fire danger include Attica, Central Greece (especially Evia, Boeotia, and Skyros island), Peloponnese (Korinthia, Argolida), Central Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace (including Evros and Samothraki island), and North Aegean (Lesvos, Chios, and Lemnos islands).
