Examinations for Greek language certification were completed nationally by 3,217 applicants for Greek citizenship on Sunday, ANA reports.
Examinations were organized by the Interior Ministry’s General Secretariat for Citizenship, in cooperation with the Education, Religions, and Sports Ministry. There were 55 test centers throughout Greece, of which 5 were dedicated to applicants who are over 62 years of age or are unable to participate in a written examination due to learning disabilities or physical disabilities over 67%.
It was also the first time a pilot program was tested on controlling cellphones and other electronic devices to ensure transparency and credibility of the examinations
