Greece’s role in helping to improve transport and connectivity networks in the broader region of the Balkans, the Black Sea, and the South-Eastern Mediterranean became pivotal in recent years, noted Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister for Economic Diplomacy & Openess Kostas Fragogiannis on Wednesday, ANA reports.
The minister was speaking at the 4th Balkans & Black Sea Forum’s ‘Executive Roundtable 2023’ in Athens focused on Greece’s role in energy, economic and environmental innovation, interconnectivity infrastructures, and intercultural cooperation.
Improving connectivity in transport networks is a priority for Greece, Fragogiannis emphasized, “as it brings economic and geopolitical benefits for all countries in the region.”
