The measures that will take effect from Monday 14th of December for the partial opening of the stores were presented by the government spokesman, Stelios Petsas, int.ert.gr reports.
As announced, hairdressers and bookstores will open from Monday.
From Sunday, the retail stores will be open only for pickup.
The curfew will start at 10 pm. The churches will be open on Christmas and Epiphany day and with a certain number of people while the SMS for the citizens’ transfers remains in force.
The mandatory preventive quarantine for those traveling from abroad to Greece, entering the country from December 18, 2020, to January 7, 2021, is now limited, to 3 days.
The government spokesman noted that “ it’s about a stressful situation in the whole country and mainly in Northern Greece” stressing that “ the situation in the ICU is suffocating with the occupancy being 83% throughout the territory. That is why it is necessary to avoid images of overcrowding in our country”.
