Greek Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias has traveled to Riyadh, where he will participate in the 22nd World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), ANA reports.
On the sidelines of the event, the tourism minister will hold a series of meetings with the CEOs of Saudi Arabian airlines with the goal of launching new partnerships and increasing direct flights. He will also have a series of contacts with representatives of the tourism market for the further promotion of Greece and also with entrepreneurs regarding the attraction of investments.
Over 2,000 high-level representatives of the travel industry from all over the world, including government officials, entrepreneurs, and important representatives of global tourism are participating in the meeting in order to collaborate and exchange best practices for the formation of a new, modernized tourism model.
