The prospects of legislative and other interventions to support Greek tourism were discussed by Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni on Wednesday, during a meeting at her office with representatives of SETE, the Greek Tourism Confederation, ANA reports.
At the meeting, the minister, Deputy Tourism Minister Elena Rapti, and Greece’s tourism promotion organization made a note of new market targets, competition issues, infrastructure, and specialized tourism. All sides confirmed that the market messages in 2023 were positive, while incoming data indicate that tourist arrivals and revenues will be up.
