Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who is visiting the city of Tripolis, on Monday had a meeting with representatives of 18 companies from the Peloponnese that employ 8,375 workers between them and have an investment plan of 850 million euros in the region of the Peloponnese in the next few years, ANA reports.
“We are a government,” Mitsotakis said, “that likes to solve real problems. Many problems are horizontal, others are too specialized. You know, however, that you are talking with interlocutors that are willing to listen and understand how the real economy works”.
According to Mitsotakis, a top priority must be the inclusion in the network of units that can use renewable energy (RES) in order to reduce production costs, while adding that this must be the country’s comparative advantage and that “the sooner it is done, the more competitive Greece will be”.
