From 4th to 7th September, the Autumn Event Season kicks off with the Concour de Croatie and Croatian Car & Design Week! Returning for its second year, this elite automotive event will showcase some of the rarest and most extraordinary cars in the world, from vintage classics to modern masterpieces. Brand-new for this year is the appearance of two legends in the car industry: Professor Peter Stevens and Fabrizio Giugiaro, who will be presenting the McLaren F1 – a rare opportunity to see the car!
Professor Peter Stevens is considered to be one of the most influential automotive designers, renowned for his work on the McLaren F1, Jaguar XJR-15 (the world’s first carbon-fibre road car), BMW V12 LMR (winner of the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans), the redesigned Lotus Espirit, and collaborations with major brands such as Lamborghini, Subaru, and Prodrive. Fabrizio Giugiaro is a visionary founder of GFG Style and a worldwide icon in automotive design. His innovative and creative thinking has reshaped car styling across the industry.
From 11th – 14th September, Taste the Mediterranean will tantalise tastebuds in Lošinj Hotels & Villas exceptional selection of restaurants and in nearby Mali Lošinj. For the first time, Taste the Mediterranean, an international festival of Mediterranean food, wine, and lifestyle, is being held in Kvarner, the Croatian region in which Lošinj is located. This is coming at the perfect time as Kvarner has been named ‘European Region of Gastronomy 2026’ by the IGCAT (Institute for Gastronomy, Culture, Arts, and Tourism). As well as the two five-star hotels and beautiful collection of luxurious villas, Lošinj Hotels & Villas has an impressive portfolio of restaurants located around Čikat Bay.
During the foodie festival, guests can enjoy international cuisine with a choice of over 400 sommelier-selected wines at Michelin-Star Alfred Keller Restaurant, the most delicious Greek cuisine at Bava Innovation, and delightful seafood dishes at Konoba Cigale, a Croatian fish tavern by the sea in Mali Lošinj that serves freshly-caught fish and seafood. ADVERTISEMENTAs the grand finale to the season, Lošinj Hotels & Villas will be hosting the MEDISOLA – Health and Vitality Festival 2025 from 2nd – 26th October, further cementing Lošinj’s 140-year-long position of being “The Island of Vitality”. Due to an unusual yet natural phenomenon called the “Kvarner Effect” accompanied by a combination of 2,600 hours of sunshine, high air quality and pressure, therapeutic aerosols from medicinal plants, and a high concentration of salt in the air, Lošinj has (scientifically-proven) healthy air.
The festival opens on 2nd October with a conference featuring two thought-provoking panels: The Healing Power of Lošinj – Through Experience and Science and Lošinj as a Space for a New Tourism Paradigm. Over the month of October, the theme of wellness will be felt across the island, specifically via these six key elements:
