Agrotica, the largest biannual expo of agricultural machinery in the Balkans, will open in Thessaloniki on October 20, ANA reports.
The 29th International Fair for Agricultural Machinery, Equipment & Supplies will be held at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center and conclude on October 23. A total of 1,600 exhibitors from 48 countries are expected.
Agrotica will also include specific hosted buyers from 12 countries (Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Egypt, Georgia, Jordan, Lebanon, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates) as well as group visits from Albania, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia and two business delegation from the Iraqi Kurdistan.
Sideline events will include the 9th National Congress of Agrotica on “New technologies as levers of viable development in agriculture” (Oct. 22-23) and the daily meeting of Thessaloniki International Fair-Helexpo and Alegre Growshop for medical cannabis (October 21).
